This is a new idea I’m trying on my blog this year that was inspired by and – to provide a brief review of a picture book every day of 2018. Title: Fox & Chick – The Party & Other Stories I’m a huge fan of Sergio Ruzzier’s muted color palette and sweet characters. Kids just learning to read would find this easy with a larger font than most graphic novels and very clear direction on what to read next. It would make a great title to start teaching kids how to read graphic novels – what text bubble to read first, how to read the panels in order, etc.
